Erabadu Leaves

Scientific Name: Erythrina fusca

Erabadu leaves are excellent for stabilizing and maintaining pH levels in your aquarium, fostering a balanced and healthy environment for aquatic life. As they decompose, these leaves release essential nutrients that act as a natural food source for fish and other aquatic organisms. They also provide natural cover and hiding spots, making them ideal for bottom-dwelling species and shy fish, enhancing their comfort and reducing stress. Additionally, erabadu leaves release tannins that impart a subtle, tea-like color to the water, simulating the natural conditions of many tropical fish habitats. By adding organic material to the water, they enrich the aquarium’s ecosystem, promoting a more natural and biodiverse environment, making them suitable for fish, shrimp, snails, crabs, and other small aquatic invertebrates.

Indian Almond leaves

Indian almond leaves (catappa leaves) and jackfruit leaves are beneficial for betta fish in aquariums. Indian almond leaves release tannins with antibacterial and antifungal properties, helping to maintain water quality, lower pH levels naturally, and reduce stress. Jackfruit leaves also release tannins, conditioning water and creating a natural environment that supports betta fish health and well-being.
