Above 70 Kgs – Below Rate to be Multiplied by the Number of Kg’s
The above rates include a fuel surcharge and are valid until 31st December. Any changes to this tariff will be communicated in writing one month in advance. All rates are quoted in US Dollars and will be converted to Sri Lankan Rupees at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of invoicing. These rates apply only to main cities; for other cities, a remote area charge of US$ 30.00 per consignment will be applied. Rates are subject to any local taxes or surcharges as determined from time to time.
For Enhance Liability Cover (ELC), please contact your account team or ASE at +9472273273. The greater of the dimensional or actual gross weight will be considered as the chargeable weight. The formula to determine volumetric weight is as follows: Length x Width x Height (cm³) / 5000 = Volumetric Weight (kg). For awkward or single packages with a gross or volumetric weight greater than 30kg, additional charges will apply. Please check with your account team or call ASE at +9472273273 for details.
The maximum weight and size limits per piece are 70kg in weight, 274cm in length, and 400cm in length and girth combined [(2x width) + (2x height)]. A package with a combined length and girth exceeding 300cm, but not exceeding the maximum GPD size of 400cm, is considered a large package. Large packages are subject to a minimum billable weight of 40kg.
